Coming from the world of restaurants and hospitality, I tore my way through the UCLA extension program for Architecture of Interior Design when provided the opportunity. As I've navigated the waters of career change, I have been very successful in utilizing my extensive professional background in the restaurant and entertainment industries to deepen my understanding of design.
After learning to weld and working as a fabricator I was led to Interior Design by way of my interest in furniture design. I decided to expand my design understanding and multiple streams of creative endeavors into interior spaces. My passion for lifelong learning allows me to constantly evolve and apply my knowledge across industries. Design impacts everything we do and I believe in the power it has to shape and change us and the way we connect with others.
Space planning is one of my greatest strengths and I took immediately to CAD drafting and have been thrilled to take on drafting projects as well as tutor students in AutoCAD. I love utilizing CAD and Sketchup in my design approach to help visualize the potential of a space.
